Where is all the content?

How do you even know they like the game? They didn't indicate that in their post as there was nothing of any substance, only that they think the other person should quit if they don't like direction of the current expansion.

The thing is, it doesn't matter if they like the game or not. They can still make that statement because it's a valid response that does not depend on the person saying it.

Telling others to quit sounds like a bad idea to me TBH. Also, don't be surprise the day you have any problem someone told you to do the same.

Telling others to feel free to play other games is not telling others to quit.

You say similar but I say otherwise.

If you can tell us what makes EW have similar amount of content so far?

By the way I define content as actual developed content made for the game not player made stuff (this is important distinction since you are on Balmung)

You've been here since 2013. Do you not know FFXIV's content cycle since at least Heavensward? We have MSQ, dungeons, trials, raids, hunts, FATEs, crafting/gathering, etc. This is the same as in previous expansions.

You're oversimplifying the OP. In your context, the OP didn't just say they don't like chocolate, they provided feedback to the creator of said icecream that do not like the chocolate because they decided to change to chocolate sourced from a new region that they perceive is lower quality, and that they much preferred when they used chocolate sourced from the another region.

Meanwhile, other people like that chocolate ice cream, so the restaurant has a choice whether they think their ice cream is fine, and if so, the consumer also has a choice in going to another restaurant.

OKay = we are not talking about the same topic. The topic is "Has EW enough content" your answer is "play something else" in school you would get zero points because you ignore the question and give answer to something that was not asked. ...

You might think that the topic is about lack of content from the title. I did too. But as I said earlier in the thread, the OP doesn't actually complain about lack of content.

Complaining about gearsets, music, zone sizes, voice acting, and server queues is not complaining about whether EW has enough content.

Either way, whether there is indeed not enough content or whether you just don't like the content that is in the game because of some aesthetic reasons like music or voice acting, saying to play something else is still a valid response because that's how you get more content that you enjoy. There is no need to limit the content you play in video games to FFXIV, and that's what Yoshida also said, as has been quoted earlier in the thread.
