How do you even know they like the game? They didn't indicate that in their post as there was nothing of any substance, only that they think the other person should quit if they don't like direction of the current expansion.That is feedback as some people like the direction of the game.
And it becomes more valid of a feedback the more the devs stick to a direction, especially if the devs has stated they're sticking to it. Like job designs, for example. If you want Heavensward style job designs and the dev says they don't want to return to that, there is a likely chance that you're not going to like the direction of the game. Playing other games is a valid alternative, and thus it's a valid feedback to give.
Just because you don't like the feedback, doesn't mean it's a distraction. Imagine if devs view feedback as mere noises and distraction. That's ridiculous (though it can probably happen, with at SE).
