    This is the poorest argument I've ever seen. The simplified crafting is as a direct result of the feedback or distaste that people had for how complex or annoying the system once was. They didn't just suddenly wake up and think they need to dumb down the system.

    No single expansion has had relics released on the launch of the expansion. Not Heavensward, nor Stormblood, nor Shadowbringers, and neither this. It's a pretty common trend of every expansion for the past 6 years, as is everything you highlighted. Speaking of, why are you comparing a base game to an expansion..??

    Well for one, they specified expansion cycle, not re-launch to save the game. Two, no one wanted another Prae or Castrum I am sure, not sure how you consider that content though since just a story dungeon experience. Crafting being made better is not making it less in depth. The fact that Inner Quiet change went through I doubt people are truly complaining about...

    Strange because I thought Ruby Sea was the worst zone I have ever seen in basically any MMO I have ever played. It would be wise to review what is coming in 6.1 before going off on this odd tangent. Radz alone makes every other city in the MMO look small...Sharlyan is very big also compared to crap like Rhalgrs Reach which was needlessly spread out.

    6.1 has a new Ultimate, deep dungeon and Island Expeditions, world server visit and the new pvp mode.

    The system wasn't complex. People just macro'ed everything. This isn't what people ask for. Look at healers.

    You can argue that as much as you like but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of players and the action carried out as a result would suggest otherwise. In any circumstance my point was that their complaint or criticism was a direct result of community feedback. Besides, let's face the fact. It took more effort for them to redo the system into what it is today than for them to just leave things as they were.

    I've seen a lot of complaints about mostly small stuff, but this is the worst take I've come across yet. Honest question, did you strike oil at the bottom of the hole you had to dig to come out with this complaint?

    Not according to the wiki. It was 2.2. Anima was 3.15, Eurekan were 4.25 and Resistance were 5.25.

    And with 2.0 most of this was stuff that was already pre-developed for 1.0 and was able to be finished off for the launch. Comparing an expac to what is essentially the base game is just ridiculous.

    Ever since HW at launch we've gotten 2 NM Trials, 2 EX trials, NM Raid, Savage Raid, and a few max level dungeons. And while mid expac max level dungeons have decreased we've always had three new max level dungeons, 1 story and 2 side. HW also started the trend of Relic coming after launch, and while it did come out earlier than with StB and ShB that's likely to do with the fact that the HW relic didn't get it's own system and zone dedicated to it.

    As far as the comment about Deep Dungeons. PotD and HoH were not in at release, they came in with 3.3 and 4.3 (HoH I am not 100% sure on, but I believe it was 4.3. It definitely wasn't launch). However, they have also started they have nixed that and the Bozja like stuff will be the norm going forward for additional job leveling areas. To replace that they have hinted many times at new 4 man content for EW, but again not at launch so we'll have to see. We can judge at the time it is or isn't added.

    We've gotten like... the same amount of content it seems that HW, SB and ShB received when their expac launched. 6 MSQ dungeons, 2 optional dungeons for expert mode, 3 NM trials, 2 extremes on release day, as well as dozens of side quests. Granted, I did only join a bit over a year ago so I obviously don't know what it was like exactly on patch day and beyond, but. It feels roughly the same as ShB, SB, and HW content-wise for the very first patch. Seems like they save huge content releases for the .1, .2, .3, .4, .5 patches.
