Gold Saucer mounts - it's been a while

I do have to say though that my drive to play the game has lessened recently as my original drive was being a completionist and taking pride in my collection where I had rare things that you have to get to Floor 150 of POTD for, for example. The Pegasus mount is what I'm speaking of. Now, you can just hope you get it in a lockbox.

I'm not big on the boxes myself, but how does this lessen other completionist things? There's plenty of other things I'm the game that are show-offable. Things get easier to get over time, that's the way of mmos.
