    It might take me a while, but I'll get a spreadsheet whipped up to put on google docs that will take care of the weighted values for mats so that nobody has to do the math (and so that the math can't be screwed up by a person). I think the best way to handle it is to have one tab on the spreadsheet per week (so one tab per gear piece).

    Once we have all that worked out, we just need to make a decision like a week beforehand for what we'll be focusing on the following week. That will give everyone time to collect mats. The question that comes to mind is how will we notify everyone once we figure out what mats we need for the next week? There are several different solutions, maybe the easiest of which would be to create a thread in this forum weekly to announce what the focus of the next session will be.

    I was thinking some more about this and have some additional input. If we do this, we'll need to come up with a more rigid schedule in addition to checking mats and completed gear in and out. So that we make sure all the donated mats are accounted for, we'll have to be fairly strict about turning them in at the start of the event. We'll have to play it by ear the first time, but depending on how long it takes we may need to limit check in to about the first hour, maybe less.

    As soon as the first person is done turning in their mats, the crafters can start, but everyone will need to wait in line so that we can keep the checking in of mats organized. It'll be chaos otherwise.
