The real reason DRK players are upset

If they're going to try and pull the Lore card, then they might as well go all the way and just turn DRK into a true DPS instead of a tank, as was the case with previous FF games. Either make it a viable tank class, or say screw it, and make it a good melee DPS class.

They already did make it a good DPS class: rpr

I would argue the only reason people use it right now is because it is in fact a DPS class, just one that can handle the occasional tank swaps.
