    FFXIV Boot Error: Unable to Complete Version Check

    I get this whenever I try to start my game since the patch. Fixes I have tried after doing research:

    Reset Computer
    Reset Router
    Modify boot file
    Uninstalled and (attempted to) reinstall the game: Trying to install the game gives me the boot error on steam.
    Verify integrity of game files

    Nothing has worked as of yet.

    We apologize for the delay in our response to your concern. When the error happens is the PC plugged directly into the router? Additionally, are you using WiFi or an Ethernet cable?
