    The full 9. Since I do a lot of crafting it's helpful having all those hands out gathering crystals or specific materials as needed.

    Alisse - Fisher: Culinarian materials
    Morisette - Botanist: Logs, Lumber, and Alchemy reagents
    Yvondera - Lancer: Weaver materials + Hand-Me-Downs for retainers
    Tsukinode - Lancer: Materia and Leatherworking
    Tranquilienne - Bard: Housing
    Victorineaux - Bard: Metal, Stone/Gems, raid tokens
    Edelmont - Miner: Storage of gear obtained through ventures to be used when leveling alt jobs
    Colisldumont - Botanist: Glamour and leveling gear overflow
    Bartholemeau - Miner: GC Expert Delivery


    All of them sell their respective materials or crafted goods as needed. Keeping each retainer selling only the stuff related to what they're designated to hold helps me keep track of what actually sells.
