I don’t think we should make assumptions on other people personally. I don’t think it’s equally emotionally insensitive to say that certain events aren’t as impactful as people regard them as versus trying to use someone’s life threatening struggles as a way to make your point or disagree with someone. But you’re entitled to your opinion. As i’ve stated before, Covid was for sure an issue for a good amount of ShB, however content was missing even before it existed. I’ve stated how they had a 6-7 month delay to account for any problems covid may have created, with them working at 90% efficiency before they took said delay. We know they have other composers, now if Soken having cancer did indeed impact things so much so that not even 7 months was enough, that still seems like a major problem on SE’s end that they relied upon and put so much work onto one man. Considering how much money this game has made, they should be able to hire more people whilst scarce, they’ve had ample time to do so. I’ve had other threads where i am indeed constructive and it still results in the same amount of scorn and ire from this community. Again, as someone else stated, it only took 3 minutes from me making my post for someone to immediately resort to emotional manipulation because they didn’t agree with me, while others have just downright insulted. I see that as worse than not giving exact constructive criticism as that’s a hindrance to anyone wanting to give feedback and criticism in the future. I never said covid wasn’t a genuine issue, so i’d rather you not try to put words in my mouth, as at that point you’re also being a hindrance to your own argument. These issues should be brought up, and i do hope people continue with this “tirade” of bringing things up as opposed to giving in to the disrespectful people trying to shut people down. In the end the people expressing their concerns just want what’s best for the game. The people who insult and defend bad practice are just hurting the game in the long run.As a person, i see that. Not simply as a gamer as that doesn’t define my identity.
