One player per job? REALLY SQUARE?!

I have this thing called 'work' that I can't unlock things on day one. Several of us have it, school, or other obligations. Getting into parties for content I need when everyone wants players who have cleared is soul crushing, and now you have it as a requirement for raids?!

Seriously... WAY TO GO SQUARE!!!! You are punishing players who can not be on all the time because of what is going on in party finder!

Pardon? This is literally nothing new. Standard Savage comps have ALWAYS been one per job — sometimes even one per DPS type back when coffers didn’t drop and only actual pieces so as to lessen competition on gear. Aside from LB generation, SE themselves has pushed this sort of composition since ShB with the role bonus for full parties. Week 1 is when this content is at its most difficult, and groups want to ensure an even spread of roles not only for the party bonus but also for LB generation. Whether it’s needed for healer LB or for a melee LB.

And of course some parties will want those who have already cleared the content so as to not deal with those who have no idea how the fights work or how the mechanics function. This is most definitely nothing new.

OP is complaining about Raid Finder settings and I didn't think anyone over on NA even use it, since most don't use PF to practice, unlike JPN. So essentially the complaint is maybe about a misunderstanding - seems like OP mixed up PF with RF.

Can confirm NA data centers don’t use Raid Finder. The one and only time it was used was back in Patch 3.4 when Sophia EX was the current Extreme. And only because you could have one person drop waymarkers and then macro pairs for Sin and Punishment. It has never been actively used since.

? I work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week and I can find the time to gear my guys. Either make your own party, or level multiple jobs. I've got a tank/healer/dps all to 90 just incase I can't find a party for the role i want.

edit: Also, it's no SE making it one job, its a choice the party leader can make.

This feels like a thinly veiled complaint that OP is one of the basic players clogging up the queues as a RPR, SGE, RDM, or SMN.
