so lets talk about reusing gear sets

People like you literally get dunked 60 times in rival wings and never queue again only to endlessly whine on the forums pvp is dead. Its the only form of content in this game that has variables that isn't a wipe in easy normal content. Its literally the whining every single first time pvper in other mmos has where they have a nuclear meltdown because a long term pvp enjoyer dunked them effortlessly.

I only don't mind reskins when they at least mix up the jobs that can use the gear. But with the PvP sets it looks like it's all the same which is unfortunate.

I don't really care that it was PvP sets used though. It's not like anything special is required to get them, you're just asked to tolerate PvP for a time, and I don't think people should be punished like that for the sake of glamour.

Not going to lie, could care less about leveling/dungeon gear being reused, as long as we get new job, tome, raid, and the occasional crafted glam set im all good. Folks cant really expect them to make brand new sets for every piece of content...

Nice projection there, can smell salt in the air. I never join discords, especially ffxiv. Literally just endless attention seeking and terrible opinions. Reddit and discord communities really out there thinking anyone asked.

I don't mind them re-using gear sets, but what I DO mind is them re-using them and not making the re-used set dyable while the original wasn't dyable either.

In addition to the usual colour alterations, the metal texture on the new version is a lot more detailed.

see if this was how they approached all reused sets i think people would be more okay with it. giving older sets an actual facelift or adding dyablity that isnt godawful.
for example the shirts that drop in hullbreaker are really nice. the dyable hw variants that have jagged edges where the dyable texture ends? ugly.
