so lets talk about reusing gear sets

I don't mind reusing sets. I thought it was pretty cool they gave another way to get one of the old PvP sets through crafting for instance. I do wish they'd unlock them across roles for glamor purposes, though. Not relic gear, obviously, but as I've mentioned before, if I can tank in bikini briefs, why can't I cast spells in full plate?

I wouldn't mind if some like the 87 dungeon were dyable to begin with.


And I expect by the end of the expansion we get at least 1 or 2 new crafted sets like Neo Ishgardian and Exarchic.

While the re-used gear sets have been disappointing I've gotta say, the sheer number of people getting mad about the dragon theme for the tomestone gear is really confusing. It's designed after the radz at han guard guys. The place that's led by a dragon and populated largely in part by au ra. It's supposed to look like dragon scales.

ignore them, alot of ppl complained about the "samurai" themed savage gear back in stormblood too...
New designs are always appreciated!

the problem for them is 2 things
1 its looks like a DRAGOON set for all classes. then its a set taken from NPC's. its a new low for tome gear

I dont think it's fair to call out the radiant host gear as reuse when that's just a new armor design in endwalker. There has been quite a bit of gear reuse in the leveling sets from 81 to 90 however.

I had people asking about the armor sets by the NPCs before this patch dropped in, it is a nice theme that I personally love it but I know it is not for everyone

You mean Heavensward since a lot of glamour in HW is just recolours/dyable versions of ARR gear.

Yeah it was a huge bummer.
I'm at least happy about the other tomes set for casster/healer, and the raids set for tank/maiming/striking (except you can't dye it without savage so eh), but most of the rest from this expansion was reskins and yeah, let's not talk about the undyable dungeon stuff.

I'm particularly annoyed at the pvp set reskins, both because reskins and because those glams were one of the few reasons that got people to do pvp at all, since it's basically the only nice looking stuff you can get from wolf marks, and they haven't added anything to get with wolf marks in a loooong time. But then, they never hid not caring about pvp so eh.

PS: in any case since they didn't give us any new glamor dresser slots, and it was already full forever ago, I kinda dread getting new nice glamours at this point, instead of being happy.
