This greatly worries me as doing levequests for 50 levels is not very enjoyable for the majority of players. Many like me were turned off by the levequest system during launch, I worry this will happen in ps3 release also. I know many of you might not care as you are already maxed 50. But having a good 1-50 experience is key to designing a good modern mmorpg.

I am hoping for some general answers from Square Enix about any new questing systems, grinding party systems or updated levequests?
Who said you need to do leves? I didn't do any leves. I just killed regular mobs. I would rethink that today, since leves are juicier in $$ and xp. Back in 2010 they weren't.

It isn't just about leves, it's about the quests, grinding, and lack of innovative new content which is integrated with story and events. Getting power leveled and grinding on raptors are not "fun" or proper ways of an enjoyable leveling experience. I think people are missing the point and not understanding that new players will be very frustrated/bored with the current leveling systems. I am not the one saying I want a broad player base and to become a top class mmorpg in a global market... thats Square Enix doing the talking. I'm just asking how will this stand up to current gen mmorpgs. What is Square Enix going to do about this? People can white knight the game all they want, but that doesn't change the fact that the current system will not attract new players.
