Thread: What past Final Fantasy concepts would you apply to XIV?

A while ago, I remember that the FFXIV devs mentions something about have past FF locations, I think they gave the example of the Crystal Tower.

What locations and concepts would you put in the world of FFXIV? Of course based in the world of FFXIV and not like the trans-dimensional concept of Dissidia (except for Gilgamesh).

1) I would have a fleet of airships called "The Red Wings" in the story and cut scenes.

2) An area based off of "Mount Ordeals", you could even have a HIGH level Dragoon quest where you fight a Dragoon who is in full AF (but stronger). You could even have a high level Paladin fight there or if they add Dark Knight, the same would apply, or maybe for the latter two, you fight your character in the other job (Dark Knight fights a Paladin version of your character, an vice versa). The reward could be a new ability or AF2 weapon or some such.

3) Narshe.

4) If they add an Assassin type class/job, have some npcs CLEARLY based off of Shadow, Edge, and Yuffie.

5) The bridge fight with Gilgamesh.

6) A Blonde spiky haired guy who is totally emo, and for sanity sake is only seen once.

7) Boko the Chocobo?

8) If they do anything like "multi-world/dimension" or whatever, do it like FFV, though, not necessarily bring the world together. Maybe make that something the player has to stop.

I could be wrong, but I believe one of the chocobo escorts does indeed have a chocobo named Boko.

Biggs, and Wedge. comic relief. They should appear in all expansions

open world is an instance, did you mean claimbot fest endgame content or not inside a cave endgame content?
