    If it's something soul eater gives, might as well have it on everything by default.
    I'd rather have Souleater be weaker but have a much stronger heal, and have another pure damaging combo finisher. Or have the option to use Dark Arts on souleater to up the healing potency (granted we have a button to generate dark art, like for 20s from dark side meter, generate 1 stack of dark arts, 10s CD)

    If Souleater were to source (i.e., via gauge), rather than perform, the self-heal, though, that'd still ultimately provide self-healing... but not on a skill you can only bank by at most 2 GCDs outside of Delirium. For instance, if we gained an early-level Blood spender (say, Scourge) by which to take that healing at a time of our choosing, that could actually be far superior in both functionality and gameplay.

    (Of course, I'd also prefer then to have Blood spenders decreased to 40 Blood cost so they're each afforded by 2 combos, rather than 2.5 (one Blood skill afforded per 15 seconds, rather than 2 per 37.5 seconds), with reduced potencies to Blood skill and original skills' bonuses via traits past the point Blood skills are introduced to compensate for their 25% increased frequency pre-Delirium -- much less significant thereafter, as Blood Weapon and Delirium together would still generate half your Blood casts, just down from the majority of them.)

    Having to spend black blood on a healing ability is smart. Since we generate a lot of it during AoE (where we might need healing more often) this works pretty well too.

    Careful guys, the devs will just take your ideas and give them to the other tanks.

    Please look forward to a third charge of plunge and a mini targetable Dark Mind that works like Oblation.

    I sure do love paying 50 bucks every few years to experience disappointment.
