am pretty sure that a second strategy will come and heck some JP people killed her without BLM before 1.22a

am pretty sure that by now no one is fighting her because there is no legit strategy for her (why?)
because people focused on using the blm exploit (yes am calling it that). instead of using a legit strategy
(Did you know that a mnk or a drg focusing on her with proper gear can output DPS more than a blm?)
the fight is all about time you just need to drop her to 50% and make her jump only twice so she cant kill all the rocks (The more rocks the less damage you get from aeiral blast kinda the opposite of ifrit dont you see?)

Not really a legit kill phase 2 was skipped. Did you kill it post patch? Because in my experience phase 2 kills a lot of people due to latency and overall bad servers.

Did you kill it postpatch? You can still skip phase 2. We were farming it this afternoon. We still do phase 2 in a large percentage of our clears though, so it's somewhat irrelevant.

No didn't stack blms pre patch. Like I said there is terrible server lag and it hurts you really bad during phase 2. She ports around people are behind her or not in her cone range and still die, cause the server thinks they got hit even though they weren't in range. Haven't tried it at all post patch yet.

Pretty much the same lag issues the game has on any of these fights. But if I had to rank them in difficulty it be, easiest mog, then ifrit, and finally garuda hardest. Mog is like the only fight where latency doesn't totally screw you over. It can with flare but that can be prevented with positioning.

What about trying 1-2 mnks constantly on garuda with fists of earth up. would be like a mega DoT preventing AoE's. Shoulder tackle to her when she spawns after tele.

Actually Fists of fire deal more damage on her dont know if they fixed that in 1.22a
but on plumes since they have high m.def i dont suggest using any fists with Aura pulse

I think people would just stop dps and hold Garuda in phase 1 for that lol. Maybe make it an achievement for killing clones 3 times in 1 fight or something. The "speed" achievement is pretty meaningless since it's the safest and most reliable way to win in the first place.

Isn't it already impossible to hold Garuda in phase 1 indefinitely due to the plumes blowing themselves up?
