I think I might have put a few things in a slightly different order, but pretty much yep.

I sort of wish people would keep their winning strategies to themselves (specifically first kill videos) so that people can figure out more than one way to kill something.

I like how people come on the thread saying "learnyourjoblol" and "we're 7/7 already noob". You guys just whore'd out in your elitest shells speedrunning on your equipmages. So i guess "learnyourjob" actually means "Learn how to cast thunder>thundara". BLM is by far the easiest job to play. Lol learn a real job. the only people that join/host pickup parties for garuda are people that aren't in elitest shells. this game is meant to cater to CASUAL players as well. garuda is NOT a casual fight. it doesnt need to be nerfed, it needs to be tweaked. either that or the community needs to be tweaked. because a bunch of exclusive only elitests afking in ul'dah laughing at people trying to play the game/learn how to do something is a pretty pathetic excuse of a community.

I am in a linkshell of 128 casual players we are not elite or hardcore in anyway. So I don't do pick up groups but when our members try to beat garuda we try like hell. We're having trouble surviving Aerial Blast. Plumes aren't an issue for us we can knock them out fairly quick by running into the middle and firing off our AoEs but we just cant do enough damage fast enough to keep her from using her AoE move that damages all pillars.

I don't want to sound rude, but if you're not able to bring her down fast enough to prevent her from damaging the rocks with aoes, you're simply not DPSing as well as you could, or you're undergeared. That's not an insult, it's just how it is.

By no means do you sound rude. A little constructive criticism is always welcomed, I feel the garuda fight has given me motivation to self improve myself and as I type this I am gearing my bard to the best I can. I have tried a few times having members double meld gear for me to no avail so I am hoping single meld will be enough dps on my part.

To thous who are saying Garuda is easy (Yes you people who spammed BLM on her and got 7/7) try it now and lets see if the fight is easy as you say
am pretty sure that a second strategy will come and heck some JP people killed her without BLM before 1.22a

and to thous who are saying "Garuda is hard" its hard because people focused on one strategy (or an exploit) which is blm stacking
am pretty sure that by now no one is fighting her because there is no legit strategy for her (why?)
because people focused on using the blm exploit (yes am calling it that). instead of using a legit strategy
(Did you know that a mnk or a drg focusing on her with proper gear can output DPS more than a blm?)
the fight is all about time you just need to drop her to 50% and make her jump only twice so she cant kill all the rocks (The more rocks the less damage you get from aeiral blast kinda the opposite of ifrit dont you see?)

with that said lets see the (Garuda is easy) guys kill her the legit way
