About the NFTs and metaverse and generally corporate bullshit overall; we won't be having it. If it's introduced in limited, nonessential ways; fine. Let that be something that certain people can enjoy. But if you take away from the focus on quality and rich experience, from the focus on player experience. I'm gone. Many of us are gone. As a former WoW player I refuse to watch another beloved game get the life sucked out of it by deluded corporate parasites.

I absolutely love the sentiment, but unfortunately I'm under no illusion that there aren't enough clowns in the world to support all of the NFT/Metaverse BS. It's happening no matter how disgusting it is. Just like all the other things people didn't want, DLC, Microtransactions, Loot Boxes.

It's the future of the industry, and it's happening no matter what.

At this point if you can't beat them, join them. Or get out entirely.

Joining them means I can't have an expansion like SHB or Endwalker. I'd rather get out entirely tbh.

If NFTs join the game, I am unsubscribing, period. I won't be party to actively destroying the world just so some already obscenely wealthy suits can get more.

They are just going to keep pushing it until we're just too tired to keep pushing back against it and sadly, there's more people willing to turn a blind eye to this issue than people ready to vote with their wallets. By the time the vast majority notices the impact a scheme like "play to earn" can have in videogames, it'll be too late.

I won't wait to even that. NFTs are in, in any form, I'm out. I've played the game until now, it's been great and all, and I love it. But NFTs and crypto-scam are a red line I won't cross, ever. If those are in, I'm out. Limited or not.
