This post is a double whammy. Claim a scam with no argument made while at the same time being against dissenting opinions with use of force. Yikes!

Look when it's about scaming people. Sell them something that worth 0 in pretence they can find a new moron to sell it to for more is a scam. It's a classic pyramid schemes. Organizers of such find them self in jail in lots of countrys. So there not going to be any form of debating if it's ok to do crime.

The conversation about environment problem of crypto is cute, because there is so much worse industries out there that exists in the mainstream field that uses like 1000X more energy than to mine any of this, people thinking it's okay that amazon, google, and many other online services just put hundred of server farms not only on land but also underwater, in the ocean (yes they do) using filters and the water to cool their server farms, while heating the ocean's water in the process, ironic ! Crypto's highest "mining" force is also located mostly in China and India crypto farms powered by cheap electricity provided by the state, and in a huge part, from coal farms !

The west is delusional about "them" being the problem here, because in front of China that still uses a lot of dirty energy, we are probably the biggest guilt trip suckers that buys solar panels and use renewable energy the most every year, and with the cost of gpu's ever increasing and the wages here not following through inflation these past 10 years, every gamer being complaining about not being able to afford the mid to slightly above higher range GPU's ( rtx 3060's and 3070's and rx 6600 to 6700 are beginning to be completely out of the usual range of prices too this past 2 years, i don't know if you noticed the usual youtubers crying about gpu prices increasing drastically since Maxwell then Pascal's launched. )

The only people able to buy racks of 4 to 5 gpu's that now cost from 1000 $ in 2017 to 2000+ $ in 2020 for mining, are absolutely not your average person. (even buying 1 of these overpriced gpu's is becoming a challenge for anyone's wallet)

It's like the whole "Personal carbon footprint" where consumers are bashed over the head for ruining the earth. The whole concept was coined by a very clever oil company to take the heat off them and move it to the end user. Strangely governments over the world do not think like you.nif you sell a phone (let's say) then it's a product that have set value. You can then sell for how much people willing to buy. When you sell nft , same as selling air, it's a scam. It got no factions or value. You can pretend all day long it do that's how scamers work. All I hope is you and scamers like you see a jail sell for a long time where they get abused.

Funny how a company with so much history of being stuck in the past is welcoming this scam. The letter is disgusting, and made me lose so much respect for Square Enix, a company that has so many games about not being greedy. Besides, you don't even need NFTs to implement game systems with the same purpose.

They stuck no where. They do what profit them. They are one of the most predatory devs in gacha games.

NFT is a pic (for example a pic of yshtola) with an attachment or whatever that proves that you are the owner of that said thing, not the copyrights though if that isn't explicitly said you don't own that. Then you sell it to the next person for a bit more and it goes higher and higher and higher.

But what creators actually do is selling it to a friend for like 50 dollars and that friend sells it to another friend for like 200 and then to another one for 1000 so the money never leaves the friend circle. Until someone from outside buys into it at which point you make thousands of dollars in net profit and the NFT becomes a dangerous gamble and whoever will hold it last is the one that loses basically all their money and is stuck with a worthless pic.

So basically it is a scam, plain old and simple. Artificial price inflation like you see on the stockmarket sometimes. Until it crashes down and leaves a bunch of people ruined.

And a NFT is no currency, it is like a stockmarket share. You can sell it maybe but you can't buy any shit with it at all. Just that there is no regulated market behind it or anything, if nobody buys your shitty yshtola pic you sit on a yshtola pic you paid 10k dollars for, grats.

Im pretty sure us as a people decide what is valuable.. not a bunch of scammers trying to peddle nonsense... but thanks. Also.. no one is buying it...
