I'd like to think Yoshi-P would not support this. But who knows what the suits up top might force him to do.
I love this game. I love the characters, the story, the setting, the visuals. But even so, I absolutely will not continue to play FF XIV if Square Enix forces NFT technology on it. I've already beaten Endwalker, I don't NEED to stick around for the ending anymore.
I actually had to look up what an NFT was. LMAO
Hey guys.
Remember the days when the internet didn't exist, expansions weren't a thing and sequels were about 50/50?

It's a pretty good explanation, methinks.

Want a telling titbit of info?
The creator of NFTs has disowned the entire concept because it's such a farce.

Well, totally agree with the PA here.
I can listen, I can try to be reasonable, and I can have the patience to hold my statment until I know all the information about anything. But there are red lines and NFTs and similar crypto-scams are one of those. Put those things even near the FFXIV logo, I'm out, never to come again. Is that simple. I don't want that stuff into anything I play, and I don't want to talk about it, or discuss it. If NFTs are in, I'm out. Period. And while not many may share my, let's say "strong" opinion about... That stuff, I'm sure I'm not the only one who will GTFO of the game if NFTs become even near it.
"But don't you want to make money out fo your hobby?" - NO, I DON'T.

Unless a majority of players (payers) actually voice and act on their disapproval of this concept, it'll just get pushed through regardless, and normalized. Time will tell.
