Lord's Celata Manual Visor Adjust

Yes, I WILL make an entire forum post about this.

Many helmets in the game have a feature to raise/lower a visor to cover the eyes/face. The Lord's Celata is a level 50 item, dropped from Pharos Sirius, Copperbell HM, and Haukke HM, wearable by tanks, and is a helmet, with a visor, that at a first glance appears like it should raise/lower like most other visor'd helmets in the game. However, it doesn't. Why? The Lord's Set is sick. But the helmet kind of looks goofy when you can't lower the visor.

Please fix Yoshi-P, it's breaking my in world immersion

That set is just a palette swap of the level 40 Mythril cuirass tank set, and the celata on that didn't have a moveable visor on it either (technically it's not actually a visor at all but more a mouthguard), so it's working as intended. It's not helped though by both sets also being old 1.0 gear too, so there is bound to be limitations to how they work.

If you want a helmet with a cool moveable visor, may I suggest the level 58 Adamantite Helm of Fending? (I used that as my PLD head glam for so long).

The bottom part of the helmet is indeed a mouthguard, however at the top of both celatas there is a section of plate clearly connected by a hinge that's the "visor" i'm talking about. They both have some sort of crest on them, and they both have eye slits, similar to the helmet you linked. It's permanently stuck in the open position, with no way to lower it.

However if it's 1.0 gear it is pretty unlikely to be changed, oh well

That set, in its color palette, has a really clean look. I ran Pharos Sirius about 120 times in ARR to get the Lord's Gauntlets and complete the set. I wish there was a melee DPS equivalent.

It's unlikely, but if they ever update or release a reskin, I'd be really happy.
