Mods and cheat engine

I agree, cheats and mods should not be allowed in this game, I know they can replace entire bodies with NSFW models, to say the least.

How does it affect me?. They can make my characters naked, and every other character at that; They can attach excessively large dongs to female characters and even though I wouldn't see it inside my game I know other players using such mods will be seeing what they shouldn't.

Besides that, allowing mods in this game might give the developers an excuse to "not upgrade the graphics", since others are doing half-as*ed jobs with their custom models.

Finally, on the business side, by allowing mods SE is letting players use paid optional items like Korean outfits without buying them, they just swap files and done.

I will welcome anything SE can do to avoid mods and cheating.

You must miss that the Director said they would like to overhaul or update the graphics, but they wanted to launch Endwalker first and will look into it in 2022. However, that will most likely be on hold till they open more servers

Now even with a update there still people going to mod and want to change hairstyles or tweak facial features..... so the rest of your post is a bit moot on that part

I am imagining your character naked right now and there is nothing you can do to stop me! Hell I could commission an artist to draw your character naked. Welcome to not being able to control what other people do. Amazed you have not realized you are not the god of the universe before this point.

I'm honestly just annoyed that they haven't made these into features yet. If it's doable via a cheat engine, it shouldn't take them that much time to code. Like damn, we just want to be able to sit or lie down anywhere. -_-

Hey if we're wishlisting, can we also ask SE to make a lot more emotes loop? Like /read, /bread, and so many others would be much better as looping emotes...

Hard agree. These sleezy cheaters are cheating right in front of all of our very faces. They sleep on a bench peacefully in town bothering no one whilst I have to go all the way home or to an inn...unbelievable. Just unbelievable. They're beating me in sleeping. How can I show my face?? I can't even show my face. Not like this. Not knowing that people doze in places I can't. I'm humiliated. Ruined. and not in the ways I'd like to be-oh how could this happen?? Sigh. Well, that leaves us no other choice. It's time to implement systems. Right here, right now.

I've got an idea for one. It's a great idea, so I highly suggest it.
Make /doze available for use anywhere. "ah but what if people doze in raids!" Great point, disable all emotes entirely to avoid people from-I'm kidding. /doze available everywhere would be very cute and comfy. PLUS. The ability to chair sit on any edges too. Maybe call it bench sit. I don't know. I imagine though that both of those things (particularly chair) would be rather difficult. Well, if you simply made doze into an emot that didnt rely on where you were maybe that wouldnt be as complicated?? Chair/bench sit though ahhh. Nothings easy huh. But that would be nice if someday it came to be. Oh right, people cheating. Something something, grey area and dominos pizza!

I wasn't ACTUALLY blaming ps4 players - go back & read my post slowly
- And people are going to change hairstyles & tweak facial features due to a lack of variety available in game

See OP the thing is those people using hacks, exploits, bots and cheats are all paying a subscription. While SE might say they are against those kind of things and say they are against the ToS, at the end of the day the only thing they really care about is that they pay their monthly bill. Which is why you have streamers blatantly using mods, shaders, parser, autotarget in pvp and other 3rd party programs live and no consequences come to them, and why only free trial bots are the ones banned while the main account is left unpunished to ruin the marketboard.

So you'll just have to learn to live with the cheaters cause they won't go anywhere.

Chances are they don't let it slide if someone reports it.

The catch with SE's enforcement has always been available evidence. If someone mentions they use a parser (or visual mods or whatever else) in chat, and someone reports, they'll get in trouble. If they only talk about it in discord, nothing happens. But as you say, for this particular mod it's easily visible in game.

Ive met some people on my NA alt who do ledge sitting in limsa as a big group publicly since like 2017 or so, to this day they still play, ud expect with how pissy people get theyd get reported a lot but nothing in years for them.
As long as they dont harm others and such SE could easily brush it aside.

I have also been taking screenshots and got complains on my pictures.. "Oh the picture is bad, my character dont have certain mods on..."
Actually, was an extremely negative experience for me because I love making nice screenshots of the cute original FFXIV characters players are making.
