I think if it's not causing any problems, and people find it useful thats fine. I think players should learn to play with out these tools as it is more fun. But if it does make your game experience better go for it but be aware it is against ToS so don't talk about using it.
Players that are against it need to grow up. It does not harm you, until some one says you need cactpot or x mod to join this group, it is not an issue. Since there is a huge amount of people that want to tattle tell on every player for the most petty reasons, and because it is against the ToS, it likely will not become an issue. If is not your job to enforce the ToS it is SE's job. Glad some of you out there like to work for free.

The argument of "it doesn't affect you, therefore you shouldn't care" is subjective.

Some people don't like the value of difficult/prestigious achievements being cheapened by people cheating using bots and other third party programs and telling them to "grow up" is about as immature as you're insinuating they are for disliking it.

That’s all that needs to be said. There are reasons behind rules

It is still illegal to spit on the side walk in SC. It is still a law that you can be hung for stealing a horse.
It is still legal to beat your wife in front of a church on a Sunday with a stick no thicker than your thumb.
Thats nice, its part of ToS, there are also of laws the exist that aren't enforced today too.. But people move on and ignore it.

I think you should grow up, it's a video game and you aren't world first. And if you were world first, these mods would not be assisting you as they are not up to date at the time of release.

Nobody gives a damn what you do with your playtime, why would you care what I do with mine ? Then again, everything others do do NOT affect your gameplay, your titles, or whatever. Just let go of it.

Half of the legend titles have been bought for years now, and every legit legend I know doesn't care. As usual, midcores are where the issue lies.

Ofc most stuff doesn't affect others, i get that. But where it does it is kinda shitty. Like pvp etc. and yeah even ultimates.

Yeah, but there's only one gold medal per four year. Meanwhile there will always be legend titles to be "earned", whatever the way.

Plus, I haven't heard of any addons that does anything in pvp. I even went ouf of my way to check if the triple triad solver can be used to abuse triple triad tournaments, and it is disabled in a PvP setting. Surely you can make it work if you modify things in the code of it, but it is designed for PvE only. Regarding feast or frontline... As I said, I haven't heard of any plugin that does anything in that context. They may exist, but it's certainly not what we're discussing here.

Couple of seasons ago some kind of 3rd party programs became very obnoxious and wide spread in Feast. Every physical ranged player interrupted enemies melee/ranged LB's within 0,001s of cast each time. Like the animation even didn't start for them before the LB got cancelled by a player using external programs to silence it for them.

I didn't know about that, and yes, that's an issue. These (as in addons that make things easier for you) shouldn't exist in a PvP setting. I'm not sure how SE can fix that, though, except by banning cheaters, which is probably how it ended anyway.

My point remains for everything PvE.

Are we really comparin plugins to drug use?

How did we get here?

I can understand pvp (The real issue in pvp content isn't even plugins btw, but people manipulating Feast ranks by in game means like, afking on the side for example) but ultimates or other PvE content is where you lose me. You can easily just make your own static and require everyone be plugin-free?

Hate to break it to you, but it's not just your game. Everyone pays a sub to be here and has the right to play the game how they see fit. Why should someone else getting the same achievement as you in a different way dampen the pride and good feelings you feel from yours? It shouldn't lol. What someone else does with their game really shouldn't affect you at all unless it physically disrupts your gameplay to the point you're getting kicked from the server at a constant rate from hacking/DDoSing.
