Reread who I was replying to. He was talking about posting NSFW images on a SFW discord. The discords don't usually ban people over that because it'd difficult to prove who actually owned the character. You can fantasia any time and copy anybody. Typically as long as the photo isn't thief, they permit it. Otherwise a lot of generic catgirls wouldn't be able to post any photo since most look alike and you don't own the design of a character.
Also, as an aside...aint nobody going to recognize your character even if someone uses it. I mean...especially if they aren't wearing any clothes.
My apologies. I'm at work and was skimming. I must have overlooked that critical detail. Sorry about that!
While true from an individual standpoint, there's something important to consider when it comes to communities like these.
When you have a large, highly visible aspect of your community that revolves around sexual content, your game will in-turn continue to attract more and more sexually motivated people. I have known many, many people who primarily started playing this game because they were exposed to its NSFW community on external platforms, like Twitter, Fur Affinity, Flist, Discord etc. The proportion of creeps and predators in this demographic is usually significantly higher than the general population, as you have a dangerous mix of horny desperation and anonymity. This leads to an increasing number of creepy interactions in a mixed population where most of the general marketing for the game would never indicate such a large community of that nature exists. Personally, I've received more unsolicited dirty messages on this game than almost any other (barring maybe VRChat or Neverwinter Nights 1, which both had a similar nature), and I play a Lalafell >.>
As I said before though, I'm not super bothered by most of this stuff and usually find it amusing; I'm a bit of a people-watcher and even go out of my way to interact with a lot of weirdos on this game, so I've befriended a lot of ERPers over the years. I can just see where some people wouldn't find it amusing, and in some cases maybe even pretty violating.
Hard disagree. I see so many people abusing afk bypass, and no matter how many reports go their way, there isn't anything done. Some sort of monitoring may be overdue. They don't need invasive monitoring software to punish people if they're doing things that are blatantly impossible and easily observable.
Granted, this particular instance is really harmless, but I don't think it's necessarily something they should be allowing to slide if someone does decide to report it as it would be actively refusing to enforce the ToS.
This is almost entirely conjecture. Creating boogey men of "predators", and proclaiming the NSFW stuff is attracting all these bad actors. Do you have any evidence of this? While true from an individual standpoint, there's something important to consider when it comes to communities like these.

Having seen what XIV Twitter is, I say we douse it in gas and set it afire.
Just buy a PC if you want cool things.
This seems a lot like "if I can't have it, NO ONE ELSE CAN" type of thread.
I dunno, I never see house sized breast here. Nor female Au Ra packing heat. Or man roes with literal man boobs. Twitter is a cursed, blighted land.
