Remish talks about Japanese playerbase, not about DevTeam.I feel like you're unaware that it's basically "Don't ask, don't tell." when it comes to modding. They don't care as long as you're not a hugely popular person posting pron of your character online and getting them in hot water. They're also not going to put anything into our PCs to monitor it and they've said that multiple times. Same situation with BMP: "Don't get us sued for you playing music and we'll turn a blind eye."
Hate to be that person but if anyone wants to use mods so badly, save up for a PC over time. They won't be put on console.
SE has banned people in the past for posting inappropriate modded images on social media before, but only if they could actually trace the image/poster to the account involved.
With how lax they are towards to the amount of blatant cheaters in-game that go unpunished, I kind of doubt they'd make a very big deal about emote mods other players can see.

Honestly mods is a big advantage over console. Thats just how it is in every game thats moddable as its easier to mod on pc.
SE should take note of some of the mods. Particularly ones that
-stop pauldrons floating and being oversized
-adjust or remove capes, tassets and other things to avoid clipping with tails
-LONG hairstyles, not the endless short ones
-fix dyes on certain gear
-unlocking of genderlocked stances
There are definitely some creeps out there.
I've seen a few cases on Crystal over the years of someone using CMTool + mods to create porn of another persons character without their consent, often sending it to them afterwards as some kind of creepy overture. I've also run into a lot of modders who don't really have a filter/boundaries, and will just dump their erotic screenshots (without asking) into any discord they join. It doesn't really bother me personally as I think it's kind of funny, but I can definitely see where other people might feel grossed out.
Well those in game ones are harassment independent of modding. As for Discords, well that's an idiot, ban them. Most Discords have SFW and NSFW screenshot sections. There are definitely some creeps out there.

While true from an individual standpoint, there's something important to consider when it comes to communities like these.
When you have a large, highly visible aspect of your community that revolves around sexual content, your game will in-turn continue to attract more and more sexually motivated people. I have known many, many people who primarily started playing this game because they were exposed to its NSFW community on external platforms, like Twitter, Fur Affinity, Flist, Discord etc. The proportion of creeps and predators in this demographic is usually significantly higher than the general population, as you have a dangerous mix of horny desperation and anonymity. This leads to an increasing number of creepy interactions in a mixed population where most of the general marketing for the game would never indicate such a large community of that nature exists. Personally, I've received more unsolicited dirty messages on this game than almost any other (barring maybe VRChat or Neverwinter Nights 1, which both had a similar nature), and I play a Lalafell >.>
As I said before though, I'm not super bothered by most of this stuff and usually find it amusing; I'm a bit of a people-watcher and even go out of my way to interact with a lot of weirdos on this game, so I've befriended a lot of ERPers over the years. I can just see where some people wouldn't find it amusing, and in some cases maybe even pretty violating.
This is almost entirely conjecture. Creating boogey men of "predators", and proclaiming the NSFW stuff is attracting all these bad actors. Do you have any evidence of this? While true from an individual standpoint, there's something important to consider when it comes to communities like these.

The discords don't usually ban people over that because it'd difficult to prove who actually owned the character. You can fantasia any time and copy anybody. Typically as long as the photo isn't thief, they permit it. Otherwise a lot of generic catgirls wouldn't be able to post any photo since most look alike and you don't own the design of a character.
Reread who I was replying to. He was talking about posting NSFW images on a SFW discord. The discords don't usually ban people over that because it'd difficult to prove who actually owned the character. Also, as an aside...aint nobody going to recognize your character even if someone uses it. I mean...especially if they aren't wearing any clothes.

My apologies. I'm at work and was skimming. I must have overlooked that critical detail. Sorry about that!
