Every single user of any tool accepts that this is against the TOS. They understand and also accept that they can get banned at any time for this. Especially if they use them to harass other players. So, they are doing their thing and don't mind how other players play this game. But then there come people who see others using these tools and demand SE to hunt them down and punish them. Which is something they don't want and will do. And still, there are people creating these threads and comments saying they want SE to exactly do that.

You are also not discussing anything. You are throwing around your “but Discord and websites and Excel are different” argument, because “the way they get their data is different”. But what's your point? Every single time, I or someone else reminds you that even YOSHI-P said that third-party tool would also mean the software for some macro keyboard or mouse or even Discord. Third-party means third-party.



Do you not know who Yoshi-P is? Even though I wrote multiple times that he is the producer of FFXIV? Basically THE person you go to when you want to know stuff about the official side of the game. So, why are you ignoring what he says and try to actively police the TOS for him, even though he himself says that they won't ever actively hunt down players using any kind of third-party tool?

If you go back you can read what yoshi p actually said. Not what you believe he said based on what the community would have you believe. Seems you skipped that part as it doesn’t fit the narrative you are pushing.

Also with this, I commented how you are spreading misinformation about the actual context of what yoshi p said. This goes beyond “just stating my opinion”. But you don’t want to address this part. When “yoshi p’s statement” is the back bone of your argument, and it’s not being relayed properly, it’s no longer an opinion. It’s just wrong
