What sorts of hairstyles would you like to see added?

Please explain, or post images of hairstyles you would like to see in game! Facial hair counts as well!

Be kind and courteous, don't shame others for their tastes please even if it seems like a joke.

For me: Big bun top-knots, warrior buns, different styles of dreadlocks, and various braids, Taisho era inspired nihongami.
anything basically steering away from main hero type hairstyles as much as possible for me personally, what about you!

I want them to unlock all hair for all races, even male hair and vice versa.
Elezen and Roe have cute hairstyles and I want them so bad.

Hideous idea, totally against this. SE shouldn't have to go back and waste their time fixing race specific hair to work on all races. Why go back when we can just look forward and have more new options?

We want new hairstyles. I'm not seeing any long haired, tied up options. This hairstyle would look amazing on all races.

Better curly hairstyles.

I'm black (well, part black, but my complexion and hair make me look full-black), and when I heard there was an afro in-game, I beelined right for it...



...only to find that it's just a disco 'fro. The fact that it basically eats your forehead made it unusable for me. Some better curly stuff would be great, to reflect the natural hair texture and common hairstyles that I and those like me have and use. While I like the long hair and the pompadour, they're far from my preferred look.

I'd kill for stuff like...

...but I sadly don't ever see it happening.

Now I'm not going to pull the 'diversity' or 'inclusivity' cards, because that's just stupid. Nor am I going to say that the lack of hairstyles like these makes the game worse; far from it. But it would go that little extra step toward making the game more immersive for people like me. :^)

Any longer hairstyles for the males. Tired of all the feminine ones we keep getting with bows and curls. Give me stuff like Kuja’s hairstyle or Gladio’s.

I want less anime/ cutesy- rpg hero hairstyles
I don't like short, spikey hairstyles or all of the cute child-like hairstyles

Alot of hairstyles would be alot better if they didn't have mini-mullets (short on top, longer in the back) and so many of the hairstyles already look too similar which makes the best hairstyles the ones that are race specific since they're unique.

I know I want a side braid with loose bangs (similar to an EW NPC)
I'd like to see curly hair, long wavy hair & thick braids & messy buns
Properly done dreaded hairstyles
Accurate afro's/ more racial hairstyles (the only afro we have is very silly looking)


It's sad that if you want a good hairstyle people turn to mods which are against ToS since the XIV designers aren't delivering or giving any notion that they're listening-- people have requested Hilda's Ponytail since HW yet we don't have her hairstyle atm.

I don't even care about clipping & nor do the XIV designers (why else do they keep making gear that clips tails?)

I just want Ardashir's hair. It's already in the game, and clipping is a non-issue...it would be so easy!
