Starlight Redo

Many players were worried given the congestion at the start of lauch that they've been afraid of trying to log in around the holidays for fear of HOURS long queues or were busy with family for starlight so i was hoping there could be a rescheduling of it or a possibility for a redo soon. I also feel for the people who wanted to play this holiday season and were willing to buy but were unable to due to lack of ability to buy the game. Hopefully starlight will shine twice this year.

I do agree they should have at least extended it, but it's late for that. A redo does feel weird though.

But you're right that it was a really bad timing for it. With crazy queues and ll the problems that led to 3 weeks of compensation, plus people rightfully being busy with new msq and content in general, there wasn't really time for the event, no matter how short it is.
I, myself, only managed to get it done the last few hours and almost missed it, but kinda resigned myself to it. I imagine planty of people with less free time and more queue problems missed it entirely.

They don't redo holiday events, they have a set schedule. The items will be added to mog station next year like the other old event items.

While I agree I also can see the point of it was a short event took maybe 20 mins I simply just checked ques here and there did it and got off so I doubt it would be redone but I mean I'm not against it.

No those people are silly. I am on the biggest NA server and the only times you cant realistically login the past week was around 7-10 PM EST. The rest of the day was like a 5 minute queue at most. Anyone who didn't do the 15 minute event was just lazy.

On one hand, strange that they'd push back Heavensturn and not Starlight, or at least extend it.

On the other hand, yeah, queues have pretty well dropped off, and if you're not checking in around Christmas time for the Christmas event, kinda more of a player problem than anything.

Even then, playing on Aether queues between 7-10 are way less than they were before. Typically 1-1.2k as opposed to the 3-4k of before.

Was supposed to end at 6:59 PST time, but I was on at 5 pm PST time and the quest is gone. They ended it two hours early for some reason. I planned to get it done today because I was really busy for December.

So, you really want to tell me that people had ZERO time on weekends? Even on EU Shiva you only get around 2k queues during prime time on working days, when it was around 5-7k before.
