Request for option to using "expanded controls" for WXHB

I would like an option to use "expanded hold controls" (LT -> RT or RT -> LT) for WXHB (the always displayed cross hotbars) and to use WXHB controls (double pressing LT or RT) for the "expanded controls" UI on the main cross hotbar.

The reason I would find this useful is that I want to see my crucial combat cooldowns on the WXHB always displayed, but think that double-pressing the triggers in combat is too cumbersome and error-prone when compared to the "expanded hold controls."

The actions I don't need to see the cooldowns for and for the non-combat actions, those are the actions I would like to hide until I double press one of the triggers.

An acceptable compromise to this if it proves to be less than feasible, is to provide an option to add multiple cross hotbars to the HUD layout with static, predefined hotbar numbers. Then, I could put one of those on my layout and set it to the hotbar that my "expanded hold controls" switches to.

Before anyone says, "well you can just add a regular hotbar to your layout to watch your cooldowns," let me say that I'm a visual person, and I need to arrange my actions on the hotbars in the same layout as my input method.

Responding to that included rebuttal I just included gave me an idea, although it's not perfect. I just set up 2 3x4 (vertical) hotbars overlapped for each grouping of gamepad controls, and it's coming together quite nicely. It's a shame that I have to give up almost half of all of my hotbar slots to do this though. 2 hotbars x 4 groupings = 8 hotbars leaves only 2 hotbars that can be used elsewhere.

I use hotbars for extended controller support so for example my upload button (I think that's what it's supposed to be?) on the latest xbox controller is set to F6 but on a hotbar. I guess it's called an xbox one x one x? lol jk idk but I have to use steam overlay for the support to use it. And that extra button is a life saver now with level 90. I'm still missing 1 button but it's good enough i guess. I don't know how level 100 will be like on a game pad tbh. I might have to use a third party application to organize my buttons since it's hard to figure out within FF14. Hopefully SE will offer a better solution within its UI by then and hopefully drop a skill or two.

I'd just like to add my support for this feature, as I feel L+R and R+L are faster and more accurate than double-tapping. A simple option for showing "Always display expanded controls" should be easy to implement!

I really would love to see this feature implemented...@EX0stas1s could you go into a little more detail about how you used 2 3x4 hotbars in place? I sorta get the idea but I'm having a hard time putting it together...
