What is the official stance on mog station item trading for marketboard item trading? For example, if someone wanted to trade a mogstation item for an in-game item that is tradable, then is that permitted?

I found a couple of post that officially spoke about how wedding rings for gil is fine although that was back in 2014. Is this all treated as RMT? Is some of it treated as RMT? Is none of it treated as RMT? It's all done through the mogstation as a gift anyway.

I'm asking this because every couple of days I see someone asking to trade a mogstation item for something else or gil. It does get tempting to do because a $15 mogstation item for a 50mil gil item is a really good deal considering. In ESO for example, it's expected that you do this at some point and many other games are setup like this. Of course everything happens around the cash shop and that's why it's not considered RMT. I know the Mogstation is a bit different and its sole reason for existing is to provide more misc in-game content and not intended as the cash cow that other games rely on so the rules may be different.

If a GM could chime in, maybe even explain what is and isn't allowed -- that would be well appreciated. Thank you.
