Best way to track side quests completion?

Going for a 100% completion, crosschecking my journal completed quests with the side quest list on wiki as I write, any completist would share some advices?

This is how I ended up doing them all during Stormblood(I had done almost none from ARR and HW at this point). Just go to a teleport list, and work my way down doing every single quest in the zone, then moving to the next on the list. Swapping tabs as I completed an region, then starting all over from top down.

There should be a completion checklist somewhere online. I remember it being shared on reddit, and updated between expansions.

That will find you most of the quests, but not all. Some quests unlock in odd little sub-zones (eg. the Ivalice raids have few optional followup quests that you can't see unless you actually go back into the airship) or don't appear until you meet a hidden requirement (primal mounts, etc.) If you really want 100% completion you definitely need and outside source.

I wish the game will show you a completion % for each map or chapter

Go to a map. Do all of the quests. Move on to next map.
