    Blasphemous

Why does it have a form? A form with no sign of aether?
A form with hands and a face. Why are they scary looking?
People turn into Blasphemous with the thought of despair… why is that?
On what level causes people to form. What if a peasant from Ul Dah running away from a abuser suddenly turn into a blasphemous? Are they the «image» of fair?

What was the point of Dynamis and Meteoin/Bird lady?
From what i got out of Dynamis are the «feeling» or whatever.
If i feel like a hero full of confidence why do i not turn into an angelic entity?
I srsly dont believe other planets got drown into their own despair. What are the odds that those bird ladies just Happend to bypass a dumb planet that got fallen into despair…

I understand its a Fantasy game but i have a habit of comparing it to irl.

I just returned to this game from SB so im trying to catch up. Also i have dozens og questions hehe

Dynamis is normally an invisible force that exerts little influence on the world due to it inherently being canceled out by aether, but at sufficiently high concentrations it can manifest as visible and tangible phenomena.

Meteion's meddling was effectively drowning Etheriys in an abnormally high amount of dynamis energy, but it still could not actively influence its inhabitants unless they started to resonate with her own feelings of despair, which eventually allows it to suffuse a victim's being and warp them into a blasphemy after a certain breaking point. While most of the forms we see are just reused "scary" enemies we've encountered before, the unique ones like the Amaurot and Vanaspati bosses all tend towards having unnatural qualities people would probably find unsettling or frightening, like too many mouths, heads, and/or legs. The second boss of the latter essentially being an ambulatory gaja/elephant head was probably inspired by the fears/despair of the Arksodara in particular.

It's not outright stated, but it seems probable that the various dead stars may have succumbed partly due to their lower levels of aether permitting dynamis-induced disasters to take place and sending their civilizations into a death spiral after they hit a low instead of picking up and moving on like Etheriys has after the numerous calamities.

Overall, it's a new concept and one I'm expecting the writers to play with more throughout the patch cycle and likely XIV's future as a whole. Chances are that simply having concrete proof that dynamis actually exists via the Elpis flowers and blasphemies is going to lead to a deeper understanding of it as time goes on for better and worse.
