Some bosses use some sort of elemental effect in order to tell what mechanic they are doing.

However with player animations getting flashier these elemental tells are getting to be impossible to see. How are we supposed to see a "fire stance" or "ice stance" when a SMNs Ifrit is blowing up the screen with fire everywhere?

For example, the first Pandaemonium boss, and the Davi world fate are too hard to see.

I know we can turn down the animations but that feels kind of lame. Instead these issues can also be easily resolved by just adding an elemental buff icon to the boss. For example, Shiva has a buff on that indicates her element, allowing everyone to clearly see the mechanic without having to resort to adjusting graphics.

I also propose that since animations are so flashy already, the bosses need to be extra flashy to compensate. The tiny little rocks the 2nd EW Ex trail uses are way too small, although at least that effect has a distinct audio cue. And stop using fire/water element boss combos when we players are already blasting the boss with fire, go for something more visually distinctive. Maybe black/white, or use that truth/lie full screen mechanic that the last boss in Rabanastre uses.
