The exp is not so bad.
The exp is not so bad.
I don't agree with the first line, balance is possible. It's not an extreme argument, it's histocally proven.
It's funny, just last week I was talking with someone in discord. He wasn't even a new player, just someone who had largely ignore crafting. He was fretting about making enough in time for 6.1 since he would like a chance at a medium house. And you know what, in that convo I was assuming YOUR PoV, went on and on about how easy/casual it is, even citing how it would take me no time at all to level crafting on my alt ... and I think I managed to piss him off. Other people chiming in and pointed it's not just about the resource I have, but also knowledge and the technical know how. New players don't see thing through the same lens you do.
I do understand what you're saying in the second bit and personally it wouldn't bother me one bit if they made crafting from 1-80 easier when the expansion dropped to help people catch up a bit. You are right I don't think it is difficult or grindy to go from 1 to 90 anymore but if they tripled all exp gains for crafters below level 80 I wouldn't care enough to argue about it. Level 80+ however is current content and I have found it extremely underwhelming because it's phenominally easy. I'm just disappointed by that, that's all, especially when I've yet to see an argument that doesn't boil down to players wanting crafting to be lazy and easy.
