I run mostly pug content and I can confidently say that warriors are broken. Obscenely overpowered. A tank that can w2w while not only keeping themselves healed, but healing other party members should have never been allowed to go live...and after they said they wanted healers to have to heal more.

More and more tanks every day seem to be warriors now(at least half the ones I get at this point), and it's really boring. If I wanted to stand around casting ruin/glare/lasers all day I wouldn't queue as a healer. I often find myself hoping I'll get a really bad tank so I'll actually be able to do my job.

Just give 'em a couple seconds of invincibility after their own 8 seconds of invincibility and it'll be all good.

I'm actually glad WAR is the nr1 tank for the simple reason I don't really play them. I get them to max lvl and never play it again.



Gives me more changes in PF when farming ex as there will be less PLD in the groups.


Does still feel weird since Yoshi P always said he wants healer to heal more and now we have this.

What.... Warriors are fine, Paladins were able to self heal and keep the entire party alive if the healer went down, now they gave the same love to Warriors, don't really see the problem...

This. THIS. I hate doing dungeons. It's so boring. I literally dps 99 percent of the time while the warrior takes care of everything. I want to heal but they do everything anyway. I don't do dungeons anymore unless forced to. If I wanted to dps 99 percent of the time, I would pick a dps, not a healer.

It isn't just warriors though. Most tanks are way overpowered with heals or some other thing that makes it pointless for a healer to heal. I've barely found anywhere in dungeons to ever need to heal. Even the new ones.

I just had this happen to me as well.
I was told to not shield or do anything and just DPS.
This is telling and healers or tanks (warriors) need to be looked into.
If your tanks are so good that it doesn't require healers anymore it's either time to nerf said tanks
or revamp the healer role where we give some heals and more DPS because I'm not gonna press
1 button for eternity when I came to the dungeon TO HEAL. >_> I'm seriously about to give up healing.

Actually it's only DRK that is currently struggling in dungeons and need alot of healers attention, PLD and GNB have an easy time with W2W pulls too.
If you want to embrace your healer role look for a DRK to tank the dungeon for you I'm sure they'll be happy because usually healers prefer other tanks so they can DPS more and get through the dungeon faster.
Also WAR was able to do that since ShB throughout the whole expansion and we even had mad strong selfheals before that... I don't see them nerfing it now it's not like they suddenly became sustainable in EW.

Also this is the dungeon experience you're talking about things will look vastly different in Savage and Ultimate raids. Tanks can't selfsustain themselves there.
All this talk about DRK being bad in their tank role does not apply in raids as it does in dungeons. (cept for their invuln man LD sure sucks.)

Not entirely correct we're playing DPS Fantasy here where everyone wants to DPS and WAR is #3 in the tank role with DRK and GNB actually being pretty far ahead, we're talking about 10% from 1 to 4.


That being said, they should not nerf the sustain of other tanks but give DRK sustain themselves so they are not the laughing stock in dungeons.
