    Manually enter names to blacklist?

Well, I'm a little desperate here. There's a player that invites me to their FC at least once per day, every single day. Can't blacklist from the decline invite screen. GMs won't do anything. And
    Code:
    /blist add "Invite Spammer"
    and
    Code:
    /blist add Invite Spammer
    all don't work.

(I know there is /busy but I don't want a total blockade on communications)

Does anyone know if there is a way to blacklist a player without being able to see them, without having them on the contacts menu, without chat-base communications from them, and so on? That is, purely from typing their name, or some other way to get around when the game never gives you a blacklist option in the context menus?

You cannot; they took away this functionality when they added world visit. Only the /tell command retains the ability to use manually typed names. All other slash commands now require a target or mouseover.

You have a few options to work around this:
    • Pick up a petition to start your own FC. Even if you never get the signatures for submission, beginning the process makes you an invalid target for invites.
    • Ask the person to stop. GMs should then do something if the player continues to do so because you've asked them to stop.
    • Ask the person to stop, then block them from the chat log.

I think a better workaround would be (In settings)

Thanks for the tip about forming FCs, I didn't know even starting the process blocks invites.

Question about this point in particular though - does a *sent* tell give the ability to blacklist? I'd have thought it was only receiving one. And... I'm honestly a bit hesitant to initiate contact with what appears to be a bot (never levels, always in estate, invites morning, afternoon, and night). But if I can for certain blacklist that way it might be worth it.

Yeah I'd love this, but we've been asking for years to no avail and I need a short term solution to deal with this particular problem.

I just tested it and outgoing tells, including the initial one, to someone not on your friends list gives the blist option in the submenu when you click their name in the chat log.
