And that's a good point, just it doesn't imply third party tools are authorized. So, yes, agree 100%, but again, I don't want people thinking "Oh SE said these things are OK actually" when they didn't. Those people in Limsa using a memory editor to pose their character can get in trouble and the evidence is directly visible in game for GMs to see. Even if it's unlikely, SE hasn't gone "Yep you're cool because you're not harassing anyone."

(But I still hold out hope that one day, SE will change their mind and give us an official mod system so we're not constantly worrying about which line to toe...)

The laws say you can't drive over the speed limit. However, it's unlikely the police will stop you if you're driving only 1mph over the limit. They will stop you if you're driving 50mph over the limit, because that's additional danger and risk to everyone else on the road.

The rules say you can't use third-party tools. However, it's unlikely a GM will stop you if you keep your parses to yourself and seek only to improve your DPS. The GMs will stop you if you start using parses to harass other players, because that's inflicting harm on others.
Agree 100%. But that's different from saying SE allows stuff. The issue was earlier, people were claiming certain things were allowed. Officially, they're not. Chance of enforcement for some things is close to zero. But that doesn't mean authorized.
