Just be honest about it and don't pretend you care about "skill".

But as others have said OP, report them. There are peoople saying OP can't because it's from discord, when she stated that she's seen people requiring parses in Party Finder. That's 100% against the rules and they will be banned if you report them.
1) Killing a boss quickly is GOOD for parse data so the person who complained is clearly an idiot.
2) Parsing is not all about FLEX. I parse myself, I use it to improve. Compare myself to other BRDs and learn from them. You are so uneducated about parsing if you think the only reason people do it is for e-peen points.
3) What is there to report? OP applied to a MID CORE static who wanted specific information for their runs. Why would they be punished for requesting such data?

If I run a lalafell only raid group, and the person applies and I check them on lodestone and they're not a lalafell, am I to be punished?

What about a girl only raid group? and a guy pretends to be a girl to join? We find out and kick him. Am I to be punished?

If I run a hard core raid group, where I expect excellent DPS, CD synergy and knowledge of the fights and all jobs, and they say "I've got no parse data", am I to be punished for turning them away?

How do you feel about speed running games? Where people figure out the most optimal way to beat the game as fast as possible? There are people who enjoy the game differently to you. Let them.

I literally find all the RP Clubbing stuff going on in FFXIV cringe. When I tell people I play FFXIV, they think I sit in there emote clubs and ERP with people. I hate it. So much. Do I want people to not be able to do it? Ofc not! They can enjoy what I do not.
