Raid loot priority?

Been away, long time since I raided here..

I have mostly 570 gear, except for 560 feet and a 545 ring. It would benefit me most to get either of those first, but I could also use 580 in any other slot for a lesser improvement.

So, if I roll on all slot upgrades, and win on a ring and body for example, can I ensure I get the ring, and not the body token? Or do I roll on just those, and increase my risk of getting nothing?

Does the order you roll in determine preference, or is it completely random what you get if you win rolls on multiple items?

If you roll on 2 or more items, and let's assume you have the highest roll for all of them, you'll get whichever resolves first. So, whichever one the other 7 people roll on or pass first, that's what you get.

Once you get the one item that resolves first, everything else essentially becomes a "pass" roll.

In your example, to ensure the ring is preferred, roll on the ring but do not roll on the body. When the ring resolves, if you do not win the ring, then roll on the body.

Not random just whatever everyone in the raid rolls on first is given out first. If you want a specific item then just roll on that item.
