    Ya know, probly just me, but i REALLY wish they would give us a Final Fantasy 1 White mage outfit (the white, hooded poncho with red trangles )

    They did! The level 50 WHM artifact gear is actually a reasonably close adaptation of that outfit. Though you can't put the hood of the robe up, and the red triangles were turned into sort of an underlayer rather than just triangles colored onto the fabric. It's still very clearly the iconic franchise "White Mage" outfit, though.
