Basicially and undersea cable connecting the South East Asia Region to North East Asia is having issue hence so many of us are affected.

That explains a lot for me, I think. Few days ago my Discord would rocket to peak ping and voice chat was impossible. Was the same day FFXIV launcher absolutely would not work - and even worse, nor would VPNs. Sucks.

My FC members uses VPNs to get around the lag and it works.

I am trying out 1.1.1.1 VPN and it works during the peak periods.
