Besides, Religious deities cannot be proven and there are tons of different Religions from many eras. Either accept that they're all right or they're all wrong. the game takes religious aspects from all over the world and incorporates them into the game as a type of mythology. Even Christian and abrahamic stuff is in the FF series, and you don't see me dowsing ff8 with holy water.

Would it help you to know that it is made clear that primals are not the deities themselves, but what the summoners EXPECT the deities to be like--except imperfect, because people are imperfect?
