    I'd have liked more responses like Fray being available lol.

    Though having an NPC on a side quest yell at me for doing something then asking if I have no common sense and one of the response choices being "Nope!" was a good one.

    FF14 seems to be based more on the older titles. FF1 and 3, Chrono Trigger, all of Dragon Quest - the hero is completely mute. And in most of the other older games, if there even *is* someone who could be considered the one main character, they speak much less than everyone else.

    I do like that the dialog choices have begun to result in different responses from the npcs, where as before it made no difference whatsoever. I hope they play upon this even more in future content, because it's a really fun, and interactive way to involve, and immerse the player.
