How can SE do this to us? (DRK complaint)

It should be self-sustain, mitigation and the ability to control the fight(move the boss, stun, silence).

Tbf, that'd require that more than a bare, shared minimum (i.e., without needing to manage and rearrange resources or CDs based on one's unique kit) be required for survival, moving the boss, and controlling the fight.

Like Kalaam says if a Tank dies you do 0 DPS.

But for that to be of interest, there has to be a significant risk of death (at least prior to good play).

What are our options?
The people who had enough of this (like me) get on the forums and start threads in the hopes that they read it and rethink what they did to DRK.

I think this is currently our only option.

We all know that SE would give their plans for the fighting system balance right before the next patch launches, so we have a tiny shimmer of hope that with the release of the savage raids they change the bad stuff into good stuff.

But what if that doesn't work?
What if it still stays the same and nothing will be told about the current tank-situation?
The only thing i could think of is we make it viral.
Like one-man PF Groups with the title #BuffDarkHeals or something.
I think if nothing realy works here on the forums we have to go viral with this.

Now I'm not saying we should do outrages things outside of the game, but what about starting a trend like that? spread it out to the socials etc.

I would say level and play another tank then. Don't give DRK the time of day. I've already switched to GNB as my new main for tanks.

That's the thing, I won't, ever.
That's why I want the job to be on the same level as the others.

How can SE do this to us?

That's quite simple to answer : they did listen to the numerous other threads like "healers don't have enough things to heal !", "mobs don't hit hard enough !" and "look, these 0,0002% players succeeded in doing a 90 extreme trial without a healer, that means we are not needed in the whole game !". And, with the DRK, did give healers what they want : something to heal.

Don't worry about these numerous "oh thank god its not a dark knight" healers, and don't let them mislead you. They are probably dps in disguise, not wanting to heal anything. True healers will be happy to see you playing DRK.

I don't like GNB or DRK atm
with GNB if this is direction they want to take the job really dont mind not liking it like i did in ShB
with Dark Knight ill keep fighting till a real rework because the job has had such a terrible history in this game post HW

so if 6.05 doesn't fix gnb for me or if they don't announce a DRK rework in 6.1 I'm just gonna stick with Samurai

I'm inclined to agree. Generally if any changes are made it will be if JP voice their concerns. Other regions may as well be a black hole that is actively ignored.
