How can SE do this to us? (DRK complaint)

First of all, yes I know it's another dark knight thread but hear me out.

We all know now that we DRK have the most problems in dungeons, i even saw multiple healers saying "oh thank god its not a dark knight" at the beginning of a dungeon when they got a different tank.

I have multiple big issues with the job but thats for another thread.

Listen to this:

We are playing a game, where the DEV's decided to get rid off Dark Knight's Self-Heal with the patch from Heavensward to Stormblood with the reason "It is too strong"
But IN THE SAME GAME they give the Warrior a Self-Heal that is STRONGER than what we had with DRK at the end of Heavensward AND it is easier to perform because you only have to hit 1 button AND you can do that every 25 seconds!

We had to Stack multiple cooldowns, use Blood Price, pray that noone stuns the mobs and spam the hell out of Dark Arts and Abyssal Drain! Also the Cooldown for that was at least 60 seconds because you had to stack multiple cooldowns for it.

Even if they nerf WAR's Self-Heal he still will have it and it will still be super strong.
Just give us Abyssal Drain as an GCD back and make it cost 50 Bloog Gauge.

How can SE do this to us?

I believe that this was straight up 100% not tested at all.

My thoughts are when you see and notice all the feedback we give to improve DRK in the past 4 years has been used to make new jobs (aka Reaper) and buff/reoinforce the other tanks (aka the confiteor combo being the request for Delirium rework from the JP players, self healing, resource management who is now WAR, ect ect) while they keep taking away more and more stuff of the job and fill it with 2 generic fluff oGCD and 3 waste traits and is the only tank that don't follow the design doctrine they just pridefully clain they are following just say everything about what is the Dev team deal with DRK, i just leave it here.

I feel like they're heavily biased towards DRK. Unmend trait.... NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY DID IT, but twice? What a joke. Delirium still a snoozefest, BW is not 5 stacks, 2nd AoE is at lvl 72 instead of lvl 40, DarkMind is sooo situational, Living dead is still trash as usual and they won't change it because of the "lore" BUT they have the BALLS to fuck up AST lore about their cards. And their cards don't mean shit anymore besides free damage to that given melee/range class.

And two useless traits towards a shitty dot... and there's just a whole lot that I can keep going about the rant towards DRK. And the gameplay is not even satisfying at all. Like, who cares about the damage when other tanks just performs better?

It's not only that the jon is getting mutilated but also the community jumps on that hate wagon towards dark knights!
i'm from EU Light DC and we have people over here actively bullying DRK Players. This shit just can't stand.

I have so many people sending me messages like "just get off that suicidal emo job and pick something that can survive longer than 1 sec. without a healer."
People i've known for years are now jumping on that wagon and keep sending me meme's about how bad DRK's sustain is without even knowing that this shit fucking hurts.
There are people that got into FFXIV for 1 reason only and its the DRK Job, me included!
I play this game since the late days of ARR and have been a DRK Main since the Job came out and seeing it getting so mutilated over the years and now beeing bullied just for playing the job is heart breaking!

How is SE fine with this ???

Well, different times. SE's design paradigm has obviously shifted a lot since stuff that happened more than half a decade ago. And... although War gets all the attention, PLD and GNB have a lot of self healing now too.

I bet for the savage patch, DRK gets a buff. Will be interesting to see exactly what SE does.

I feel it goes on deaf ears. I mean we have been complaining about blood weapon for how long. And at the media tour when someone mentioned blood weapon to Yoshi P he stated it was never brought up to the dev team as a problem, same thing with TBN, Living Dead or Dark Mind so it begs the question where is the community manager for English forums?

Good luck then. Wouldn't be surprised if nothing ends up happening either way, knowing how they ignore even the most obvious flaw.. Living Dead was it? Bloodweapon? Never heard of that.
