"Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty. They stood back to back as the galaxy burned - always brothers, never friends; traitors together unto the last."
--an excerpt from a Night Lords Novel, "Void Stalkers" Chapter X: Revenge.
Please yes. The shared fate tab is laggier than the login servers at EW's release (which is fine for something I rarely need to check but having gemstones there and only there makes it not that). And it means an extra, unnecessary keybind. Just put it in currencies, please.
And speaking of the Shared FATE window, it'd be nice if we could choose which expansion we want to check from it (through tabs or something) before it starts loading them all. Please yes. Because as it is, it's very annoying.
Forever waiting on *new* Egis/summons (e.g. Ramuh-Egi).
It would be nice, I'm not sure why it's so laggy after loading it once since I'm pretty sure they do it like they're fetching it from a server to reduce character data load when players move around places. Players have already been capped on how much data they can move with which is why you don't see more glam slots, inventory, armory etc... One would think that loading it once would cache it into memory but you know, they have their reasons.... Probably? I think though they should convert the glam dresser the same way the shared fate system is like, or at least how I think it works. At least then we could have theoretically an unlimited amount of glams :P
I can only guess they went into ultra performance saving mode with it.It would be nice, I'm not sure why it's so laggy after loading it once since I'm pretty sure they do it like they're fetching it from a server to reduce character data load when players move around places. Aether current progress also isn't in the client until you open the window, but it opens after and updates as you get more currents. Shared fates doesn't update as you complete fates, you have to close and reopen it.
And, as far as I'm concerned, that's all fine, I just don't want a currency I want to frequently check in there.
Absolutely, I think once it's cached, there's no reason why it can't remain updated. It's not the only currency that behaves this way though. But it does beg the question on why you can see your gemstones at a trader NPC instantly? It must mean that it's already been cached and it keeps track on how much you have. So surely they can easily add it to the menu if they wanted.I can only guess they went into ultra performance saving mode with it.

I would assume it's not that the gemstones aren't cached,Absolutely, I think once it's cached, there's no reason why it can't remain updated. It's not the only currency that behaves this way though. but that they don't get drawn until the rest of the content has loaded.
so, for the shared fate window the fates are blocking the gemstones from being displayed.
Why the shops can get your shared fate rank so much faster than the menu though, is a question for the devs.
