Dizziness, nausea and headache doing the third alliance raid of Shadowbringers.

I just did this raid and the third boss made me feel horrible. I got dizzy from the constant flashing and the wild effects. It got really bad and I simply couldn't play and couldn't focus. The last boss wasn't as bad but I was already feeling really bad from the third boss so I don't really remember much of it. The raid is just white upon white with intense black and white effects and flashes...

I do not have epilepsy but I have mild motion sickness. I feel like I simply cannot do this raid again in it's current state. Is there an option to disable the effects for this raid? I really don't want to experience that again...

If you are referring to the final Nier raid, Tower at Paradigm's Breach, something that you can try is messing with the color blindness settings. I had to change those in one of the trials (Innocence) because it was super hard for me to see the markers on the ground. And I'm not color blind in any way. All the shiny whiteness just made it hard to see. The game will look odd with one of those settings on, but it might be able to help you get through it. Never hurts to try. I wish you luck.

I'd also suggest turning on the 'night light' mode on your computer, gives it an amber tinge to make the monitor stress your eyes less at night.

There were reports of this, while SE did hotfix it at one point, it still may rarely happen for certain people.

System configuration > Accessibility Settings > play around with the Color Filtering to see what works best for you.

Before the fixes, the Tower was almost unplayable for me. Now it's more or less tolerable, but it still gives me a headache, especially during the third boss. If I already have a headache and end up there, I have to leave, because I'm not taking a migraine just for that. Plain white backgrounds, sudden harsh black and red effects, and a full alliance worth of spell effects is a terrible mix. (And yes, I have spell effects turned off for anyone outside of my own party, and set to limited for my party. It's still a problem that never should've happened.)

Do you have other peoples action effects off? It really helped me when I had similar issues.

I do have other people effects turned off, so I guess my bet bet is trying out color correction. I'll try to adjust the contrast as well to see if it makes things better but I'm kind of not willing to do it again simply because I don't want to be sick again...

Try to disable "Radial Blur" in system settings -> Graphics -> Effects (at the bottom).

It is motion blur for spell effects and often causes the entire screen to constantly become blury for a second. Disabling it won't remove any visuals from abilities themselves.
