Just like it says in the title, it seems that I'm having a weirdly specific issue.
After 6.01 dropped, whenever I go to launch FFXIV, I get a popup while the game runs perfectly fine in the background, albeit with no sound, telling me the following:
An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV. 2021-12-24_06:50

Normally, since this error appeared for me for a time during Shadowbringers (though it was somewhere around 5.3, I think), I'm not particularly for the idea of just waiting for it to go away. I'd kinda like to play the game, understandably.
So far, I've tried the following: Using the repair option in the launcher on about five different occasions for the updates to be redownloaded (the game only worked for one open before going back to the error), reinstalling the entire game several times (also only worked once before going back to the error), changing to DirectX9 (where I crashed in the current endgame hub area, no spoilers), and uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers (which did nothing at all). Is there anything left that I can try? This problem keeps happening, and I just want to play the game. Hopefully someone can help, thank you for reading even if you can't!
