Unless the 1.x software is even worse than all of us think, I don't see how this is true. Plain text requires such a tiny amount of resources to store and transfer it's not even worth mentioning (which is why it's so ridiculous that the cell phone companies make us pay $10-$20 a month for texting packages).

Because they merged all the Wards so you could access any of them hoping that people would gtfo of Ul'dah like people have been saying they would.

Would have been smarter to implement the new ward thing before the server merge to see if people actually did move out of Uldah instead of he other way around. You can't take a mass of people at the word of he vocal few when we all are used to going there for everything we need since launch. We knew Uldah would be a problem for that long and yet they thought a quick bandaid would fix it? The problem needs serious attention before the merge.

But it could have been a situation of they are f'd if they do and f'd if they don't.... :/

THe new server design is only runnign internally and will not begin use until the PC client is distributed and the PS3 version enters open beta and it goes into the Reboot stage.

Cell phoen texting is very differnt then live chat. Cell phone textign enters a cue at the tower. You are not recivign floods of txt at once across 100)+ people for each line of text.

IF you ever ran a private wow server you know why. Why the filter is needed.
