    No, you did not.
    XP for crafting is based on how much you increase the quality, not on the result.
    This was the same pre-EW.

    This is indeed correct and the system is working as intended. Your exp bonus is based on your quality increase, not a set amount for HQ.

    Pre-EW quick synth crafts did not give any Exp bonus for HQ.

    Can confirm HQ Quick synth has not given bonus EXP as far back as Stormblood (From my old vods of crafting pots between raid pulls)
